These Are Perfect Waves

The new James Rabbit album, Perfect Waves, is available to stream and download free here.

This was recorded shortly before I joined the band, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Make as many copies to give to as many friends as you possibly can.

The album before this one, Coloratura, is easily one of the most important albums I've ever owned. Back when my relationship with the band was such that I only knew a couple members, during the most difficult period of my life, when I spent my days dealing with depression and only slept a couple nights a week, Coloratura was the only thing that kept me going. Not only was its underlying message so strong and relatable, it was a glistening example of the sort of masterpiece a group of friends can produce in their own living room, without the help of a record label or budget. It was about doing what you love and loving what you're doing, which is something I connected with in a severely personal way.

Perfect Waves is even better.

Suffice it to say, I'm happy to now be a member of the band that had the single most profound impact on me and I'm pumped to be touring this album in April. We'll have physical copies of it for you then.

Enjoy.
